Skill Icon List
Here you will find the complete list and meaning of all the icons present in the game When the War lost her Panties.
Each icon corresponds to a skill usable by characters arranged by category.
Each character belongs to a Class assimilated to a role with its own effect.
King is the most important character. The Battle ends when the King is defeated. When the King is attacked and benefits the Castling effect.
Castling is when the King is targeted by an attack, a Rook can switch places with the King to be protected from damage. The skill only applies if the King & the Rook are on the same row or column, and no other character stands between them. Castling can only be used once per Cycle.
Queen is limited to 1 at the start and 2 during battle.
During its turn, the character can use the same Act Skill twice on one or two targets by spending additional Act Points.
Bishop is specialized in ranged and/or support actions.
Knight has the Free Moving class skill.
The Knight can move from one row to another without ending its turn.
Rook has the Castling class skill.
When the King is targeted by an attack, the Rook can switch places with the King to protect it from damage. The skill only applies if the King & the Rook are on the same row or column, and no other character stands between them. Castling can only be used once per Cycle.
Pawn benefits from the Rise in Rank.
If a Pawn has 5 Act points, it can change class by spending all of its Act Points. After the class change, the new unit is tapped with all HP and the base Act Points of the class. All positive and negative status effects are removed.
They are the skills deal normal damage to a Target.
Crush
Inflicts 2 normal damages to a Target.
If the Target is protected by Shields, they are destroyed and receives 1 point of normal damage.
Slash
Inflicts 1 point of Normal damage to a Target.
Pierce
Inflicts 1 point of Normal damage to a Target regardless of its protections.
These attack skills allow to bypass a Character's elemental resistance to deal additional damage.
Aqua
Inflicts 1 point of Aqua damage to a Target.
Eol
Inflicts 1 point of Eol damage to a Target.
Lumen
Inflicts 1 point of Lumen damage to a Target.
Pyro
Inflicts 1 point of Pyro damage to a Target.
Terra
Inflicts 1 point of Terra damage to a Target.
Umbra
Inflicts 1 point of Umbra damage to a Target.
During the Game, characters can suffer injuries and negative effects. These skills allow to overcome the worries.
Cancel
Negates all negative and positive status effects on a Target.
Heal
The Target heals from a wound.
Revival
The KO Target is revived on an unoccupied slot as if it were in the first Cycle in an engaged position.
A positive status skill brings a benefit and strengthens the status of a character during the Game.
Shield (Positive Status Effect)
Decreases the damage received by the target by 1 point. The effect can be stacked.
Strength (Positive Status Effect)
Adds 1 point to the damage inflicted by the target. The effect can be stacked.
Transfer (Positive Status Effect)
Adds +1 to a Target's attribute : Health, Range, Speed or Act.
Only one attribute can be increased during the Character's Turn. The effect can be stacked.
This category of skills allows to hinder the enemy's advance by inflicting harmful effects on Targets.
Charm (Negative Status Effect)
Take the control of a Target and it has to act against its allies. The Target can be awakened by receiving a direct attack.
The King and charmed characters are immune to this effect.
Poison (Negative Status Effect)
At the start of each Turn, the Target loses 1 HP. The effect can be stacked.
Sentence (Negative Status Effect)
The Target receives a number of "Sanction" tokens equal to its base level. A "Sanction" token is removed at the End of each Cycle or when a new Sentence is applied. If the Target has no more "Sanction" token, the Target is defeated. The King is immune to this Effect.
Sleep (Negative Status Effect)
The Target cannot act. The Target can be awakened by receiving a direct attack.
Stun (Negative Status Effect)
The Target skips its next Turn.
Some characters have the ability to copy the skills of the others characters in the Game.
Copycat
The character copies an Act skill I of an opposing character in Battle.
Spend additional Act Points to use a higher Act skill.
Mime
The character copies an Act skill I of an allied character in Battle.
Spend additional Act Points to use a higher Act skill.
This category of skills is reserved for characters capable of calling for help from characters from the Extra Area.
Invoke
Summons a character on a free slot on your Side and within Range. Spend extra AP to match the Cost/Stars of the Invokation.
The Invokation can act during this same Cycle using its own skills by spending its own AP. The Invokation doesn't gain AP at the Start of a Cycle or when it passes its turn.
The Invokation returns to the Extra Area when its AP are 0 and can be invoked again. Whereas if the Invokation's HP are at 0, it is defeated and cannot be invoked again during the Game.
Revoke
Removes an invoked character on the Battlefield.
These exceptionnal skills are only used when a character is attacked.
Counter
The Target deals 1 normal damage after an offensive on the attacker within range.
Dodge
The character avoids an attack and doesn't receive damage.
